Cheminova pursues a policy of complying a minimum requirements for social responsibility laid down by the relevant authorities, concerning the internal and the external environment. Production everywhere will comply with the principles of the international chemical industry’s “Responsible Care” programme. At all production facilities, objectives and action plans are prepared in order to ensure continuous improvement of environmental and safety standards.
The well established SUP & SHE system is set by Management committee of Cheminova India Limited and reviewed regularly by executive committee of Cheminova A/S, Denmark. Our managers in the field and factory are responsible for implementing the pre-set system. The targets are set and the performance are reviewed on a regular basis.
Cheminova continuously participates in various Safe use products (SUP) activities directly and also through Industry associations like CropLife India, Crop Care Federation of India and Agro Policy Group.
The company’s priority is to ensure safety and health of the people working at the plant, the neighbors and those who use the products. All Cheminova employees are accountable for Safety, Health and Environment (SHE) and everyone strives to improve on the same.
Cheminova is constantly making improvements and investments on the environmental side. This is described in our yearly CSR Reports.
Cheminova has published a programme for phasing out the most acutely toxic products from their product range in India and other developing countries. |
