World Wetlands Day -

HIGHLIGHTS of CELEBRATIONS BY CHEMINOVA INDIA, Gujarat

  • Cheminova, Ahemedabad, celebrated “World Wet Land Day” in our model village Kishorgadh, Dist. Sabarkantha, Gujarat.
  • On this occasion activities were carried out in the presences of Mr. R J Asari, Retd. From IFS (Indian Forest Services), Mr. Shukla (Dy. Director of horticulture, Sabarkantha), Dr. J R Patel (Entomologist, KVK, S K Nagar Krushi University).
  • Villager Families, Team Cheminova from Gujarat region , Our sales promoters & CIL Distributors/Dealers from North Gujarat area have joined for WWD Celebration.
  • On this day we have organised drawing competition for Village school children under the title “Trees for Tomorrow”, mainly 5th , 6th & 7th standards children have participated & expressed their colorful thoughts on drawing sheets, school teachers have evaluated & selected best three among them, we have given prizes to selected children, The prizes are “English-Gujarati Dictionary” which is selected to fulfill concept of “Vanche Gujarat” under Swarnim Gujarat celebration.
  • Small complimentary like Exercise books, Pencils, Erasers etc. distributed to all school children.
 
  • On this occasion Mr. Gautham Kumar, regional head, delivered speech on Cheminova’s CSR activities & WWD, Mr. Asari & Mr. Shukla delivered speech on wet lands & importance of “Trees for Tomorrow”.
  • All participants have taken an oath for Tree plantation & nurture the same.
  • We have done flag off “Trees for Tomorrow” & then planted plants in village school premises.
  • All children, school staff & villagers have associated with the activities.
  • For plantation we have followed district panchayat one of the aim like Drumstick plantation in school premises so it can help to use in Mid Meal Project as good nutritional supplement to children.
    On this day we have mainly planted plants in village school & Panchayat premises and some plants distributed to villagers, Total 25 no of plants have been planted on this day.
  • Govt. Officials have appreciated Cheminova’s CSR activities, all villagers, school staff, children & team Cheminova have felt better & enjoyed the activities.
