We are very proud to say that on the occasion of World Wetlands day on 2nd Feb 2011, the entire team of Pune Depot along with C & F Staff conducted the program at the Village Tilekarwadi, Post Uruli Kanchan, Tahesil Haveli, District Pune.
This place is located near the Naturopathy Centre, Uruli Kanchan, established by our Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhiji in the year 1941 with the mission of environmental protection. 25 progressive farmers along with their families from surrounding Tilekar Wadi have participated in this activity. Also Panchayat Samiti Member of Uruli Kanchan & Award winner of Best practices in Agriculture
Mr. Babasahed Chaure was present to lead the occasion.

We have briefed the objective of the Program by giving detailed information of Cheminova India’s CSR activity. Mr. Amit Padol has given the importance of plantation to save the earth from natural calamities like Ulnino.
We have distributed the Personal safety kits to the Growers along with the guideline to be follow while applying the Agrochemicals.
The Team along with Growers has planted different Fruit & Ornamental Perennials like Guava, Mango, Coconut, Rudraksh, Cashew, and Citrus in the Farm of Mr. Gulab Tatyaba Tilekar & his Family. The active participation of all the members of the family with the committed to grow these plants by providing drip irrigation in due course is a testimony to the commitment of people. The Sarpanch of that village has given vote of thanks for starting this movement of saving the natural eco system & appreciated the work done by Cheminova India Ltd. in their village and expected continuation of such type of activities in future also.
We are sure these trees will stand tall to speak volumes of our commitment to the future generations. |
